Cheltenham Brewery Tour (WALKING TOUR)

Includes multiple brewery tours & a beer tasting, a one-way taxi between venues and a snack along the way.

Fridays | 14:00-17:00 | 3 stops

The tour meets at Wild Beer at Jessop House in central Cheltenham for a tasting of some interesting Wild Beer Co brews.

Next we head (by taxi, included in tour fee) to Prescott Ales to tour their traditional brewhouse, try some of their real ales and enjoy the provenance of a truly local brewery.

Finally we visit DEYA Brewing Company to see a modern style of brewhouse and taste their hoppy American-style beers. We will also check out their excellent taproom which is very popular for a Friday bevvy! You may wish to stay on for a few more tipples, and perhaps have dinner from the rotating food truck visiting that day.

Cheltenham Beery Walking Tour (WALKING TOUR)

Includes a brewery tour, multiple beer tastings and a food pairing/snack.

Saturdays | 13:00-16:00/17:00 | 3-4 stops

The tour group meet at the historic Brewery Quarter in central Cheltenham at Brewhouse & Kitchen to tour the on-site microbrewery and learn about the ingredients and process of making beer. This will give you a good foundation for all that you’ll learn over the course of the afternoon.

Depending on availability, our second stop may be the Sandford Park Alehouse, the National CAMRA Pub of the Year for 2015, to check out their fantastic cellar and get up close to traditional British casks and the more widely used kegs.

Next up is Wild Beer Co.’s Wild Beer at Jessop House, the brewery’s first bar/restaurant, to enjoy a beer ‘flight’ matched to delicious canapés. This not only takes the edge off all the booze you’ll have had, but will amaze your taste buds and likely inspire your next dinner party!

Our final stop is the legendary specialist beer and cider retailer, Favourite Beers, which has won multiple national retailer awards. In our cosy corner of the shop we’ll dive deeper into beer styles and chat about the industry’s use of bottles and cans.

Approx. walking time: 30 mins.
