September 15 – 24, 2017. September 2016 saw Cheltenham’s first dedicated ‘Beer Week’, and it was awesome! Cheltenham Beer Week (CBW) is a collection of events hosted by local beer businesses, held across a ten-day period. The purpose: to celebrate beer, the booming brewing industry and the pub culture of our great town.
Favourite Beers is a multi-award winning, family owned, specialist beer and cider shop based on Hewlett Road in Cheltenham. Since they opened in 2010 they have quickly established themselves as THE destination shop for beer and cider, not only in Gloucestershire, but in the whole of the South-West.
We are lucky to be brewing in a time that people are excited about beer and trying different styles, this is what drives our passion to create the best beer we possibly can. With a nod to the traditional side of brewing we also love to explore and experiment with as many styles and flavours as possible. Always keen to try something new and push the boundaries, come and join us on a beer adventure.
A popular “pint” size brewery nestled in Cirencester’s historic park, a short walk from the town centre. Here Lucy and Colin brew a variety of award winning ales inspired by the local Roman heritage and the community, of which they have become an important part. The beers include core, seasonal, bespoke and one-off brews that have seen locally picked mulberries, allotment grown veg, garden grown and feral fresh hops, as well as the occasional sprinkling of spices make their way into the brewing pot.
Stroud Brewery, established in 2006, produces a range of premium organic beers brewed using Cotswold grown barley, traditionally malted at Warminster Maltings. The main focus of our business is brewing our unique and tasty cask conditioned beer. As the business has expanded we have increased our offerings to include premium kegged beer, lager, cans and bottles. We have a lively and friendly on-site bar that is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
DEYA Brewing Company was founded on a passion for outstanding beer and with the vision to make products which greatly improve your beer drinking experience. “We make and share deluxe, hop-freaky ales, we’re spreading the love”.
Prescott Ales, established 2008, combines our passion for both ale and classic motor sport, with close links to the world famous Prescott Hill Climb race circuit. Our mission is to provide our “Great British Lubricants” to an ever-increasing audience, and to ensure that each pint provides “pure refreshment from start to finish”. We’re proud to be a local producer, with the bulk of our barley and hops being sourced within an 80 miles of the brewery.

New Bristol Brewery is the brainchild of Noel James, one of the first brewers to burst onto the Bristol beer landscape with his own microbrewery. He’s spent the last five years picking up trophies for his beer, receiving critical acclaim about his stout and proving to the most skeptical of beer nerds that commercial brewing really can result in great beer. New Bristol Brewery has now launched Bristol Brewery School, offloading their beer making skills to scores of beer enthusiasts.
